STX Offshore & Shipbuilding US$3 billion, STX Heavy Industries US$500 million, and STX Enpaco US$200 million Export Tower

STX Business Group harvested numerous prizes at the ¡®46th Annual Trade Day¡¯ ceremony held on November 30th. STX Offshore & Shipbuilding was awarded a US$3 billion Export Tower and STX Heavy Industries awarded a US$500 million Export Tower and STX Enpaco awarded a US$200 million Export Tower.

At the ceremony hosted by the Korea International Trade Association and sponsored by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Chairman Duk-soo Kang received a Gold Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit thanks to the management and export results of STX Offshore & Shipbuilding, recognized for having leapt forward to becoming a leading shipbuilding company in Korea. Chairman Kang watched over STX Offshore & Shipbuilding as it grew into the 4th largest shipbuilding company through continuous change and development.

In particular, he is shaping the company into an ¡®integrated global shipbuilding company to build all kinds of ships¡¯. He has achieved this feat by establishing a global production network connecting Korea, China and Europe through the construction of the STX Dalian Shipbuilding Complex and the acquisition of STX Europe.
