STX Business Group¡¯s three affiliates, STX Corporation, STX Offshore & Shipbuilding and STX Engine were joined the Dow Jones Sustainability Korea Indexes (DJSI Korea) at a ceremony held on October 20.

Of particular note, STX Engine had the honor of being selected as a leader in industry of engineering. SAM, Dow Jones Indexes and KPC (Korea Productivity Center) launched DJSI Korea in 2009 and scored 200 largest companies by a comprehensive annual assessment of general as well as industry – specific criteria.

Companies included in DJSI Korea will not only have their public trust regarding their capability for sustainability recognized worldwide, but will also see their global recognition level increase and will induce greater investment from socially responsible investment organizations.

STX Engine, selected as a leader in industry of engineering, has published an annual sustainability report based on international standards since 2007. STX Corporation has practiced sustainable management in a variety of ways. STX Offshore & Shipbuilding stands out in the area of technical management due to its having established an innovative management system.
